Tình trong mưa

Chiều ấy, mưa rào ở xóm Đông,
Cho người ủ dột đứng bên song.
Xa nhìn đắm đuối tìm trong gió…
Chỉ thấy màn mưa trắng ngập đồng.

Ai biết mưa rơi nói những gì?
Lá buồn gieo lệ, khóc lâm ly.
Lòng bâng khuâng quá, xôn xao nhớ
Cả một tình yêu buổi ấu thì.

Buổi một nàng qua dưới mái hiên,
Đường mưa in một gót chân tiên.
Ta nhìn theo bước đi ren rén,
Bỗng cả lòng yêu náo nức liền.

Từ ấy trên đường loang loáng mưa,
Tìm hoài, đâu thấy gót chân xưa.
Đường mưa bao gót chân mưa bước
Gợi mãi tình yêu buổi dại khờ!

Love In Rain

That afternoon it rained in the Eastern village.
It makes me feel sad when standing close to the window.
From a distance, I looked and searched passionately in the wind.
But I saw nothing but rain covering the fields.

Does anyone know what the rain said?
The leaves shed tears of sorrow and wept bitterly.
My heart was bewildered and eager to wait.
There seemed to be some childhood romance.

You once walked across the eaves.
The rain had imprinted your magical heel.
I followed your devious footsteps.
Suddenly, all my love became inflamed.

Therefore, along the rainy road,
I searched but couldn’t find your old heel.
The road is covered by rain heels,
Which evokes in me forever the love of senseless days.
