Con đừng suy nghĩ nhiều về chỗ đứng
Con nên nghĩ suy về cách đứng thế nào
Đứng thẳng người, chỗ thấp thành cao
Đứng khom lưng trên cao thành thấp.

Biết sống đủ luôn thấy mình sung túc
Sống tham lam giàu có hóa ra nghèo
Con đừng làm cái bóng ăn theo
Biết gieo cấy để vui mùa gặt hái

Đời là biển khổ con đừng ái ngãi
Phải vượt lên để biết làm người
Hạnh phúc ở đời là tỷ số những buồn vui
Phải cóp nhặt những niềm vui nhỏ nhất

Vui thanh thản là niềm vui có thật
Vui hư danh là trò ảo ở đờI
Một kiếp người ngắn lắm con ơi
Biết sống đẹp là điều không dễ

Cha nay đã như chiều bóng xế
Khôn dại ở đời đâu dám hơn ai
Nói với con chỉ một đôi lời
Tốt mà sống sẽ có trời phù hộ!…
