Truyện Kiều ( Câu 2980-3015)

2980.
Xúm quanh kể lể, rộn lời hỏi tra:
“Này chồng, này mẹ, này cha,
Này là em ruột, này là em dâu.
Thật tin nghe đã bấy lâu,
Pháp sư dạy thế, sự đâu lạ dường?”

2985.
Sư rằng: “Nhân quả với nàng,
Lâm Truy buổi trước, Tiền Đường buổi sau.
Khi nàng gieo ngọc trầm châu,
Đón nhau tôi đã gặp nhau rước về,
Cùng nhau nương cửa bồ đề,

2990.
Thảo am đó cũng gần kề chẳng xa.
Phật tiền ngày bạc lân la,
Đăm đăm nàng cũng nhớ nhà khôn khuây”.
Nghe tin nở mặt nở mày,
Mừng nào lại quá mừng này nữa chăng?

2995.
Từ phen chiếc lá lìa rừng,
Thăm tin luống những liều chừng nước mây.
Rõ ràng hoa rụng, hương bay,
Kiếp sau họa thấy, kiếp này hẳn thôi.
Âm dương đôi ngả chắc rồi,

3000.
Cõi trần mà lại thấy người Cửu Nguyên!
Cùng nhau lạy tạ Giác Duyên,
Bộ hành một lũ theo liền một khi.
Bẻ lau vạch cỏ tìm đi,
Tình thâm luống những hồ nghi nửa phần.

3005.
Quanh co theo dải giang tân,
Khỏi rừng lau đã tới sân Phật đường.
Giác Duyên lên tiếng gọi nàng,
Buồng trong, vội dạo sen vàng bước ra.
Trông xem đủ mặt một nhà:

3010.
Xuân già còn khỏe, huyên già còn tươi.
Hai em phương trưởng hòa hai,
Nọ chàng Kim đó, là người ngày xưa!
Tưởng bây giờ là bao giờ,
Rõ ràng mở mắt, còn ngờ chiêm bao!

2980.
They gathered around the nun and noisily asked her,
“We are her husband, her mother, her father,
Her siblings, and her sister-in-law.
We’ve been getting bad news from her for some time,
At the moment, what you’re saying is marvelous!”

2985.
The nun said, “Karma brought us together,
We met first at Lam Tray and then Tien Duong.
When she drowned her body in the river,
I was there ready and brought her safe and sound to my home.
Now we retreat into a Buddhist temple,

2990. Our grass-roofed shrine is not far away from here.
At the feet of the Buddha, days go back and forth serenely,
But her heart is always upon her house”.
When they heard the news, all their faces were radiant with bliss.
What other happiness might be greater than this?

2995.
From the day that the leaf departed from the wood,
They sought it from the mountains unto the rivers, but in vain.
Apparently, the flower has lost its petals and its fragrance has vanished.
They might meet her in the next life, not in this life,
And they were separated from life after death and the living world.

3000. But now they shall meet her again upon the earth.
They all bowed their heads in gratitude to Giac Duyen,
Then they right away followed in her footsteps.
They broke the reeds and cleared the grass to blaze the trail.
However, their profound love caused them to doubt and to believe half her words.

3005. They were walking along the meandering path along the river bend.
Across the reeds, they arrived at the courtyard of the temple.
The nun Giac Duyen raised her voice to call Kieu.
From the inner chamber, Kieu hurried out,
There she looked and recognized her whole family.

3010. Her father was always in good health and her mother was fresh.
Her younger sister and brother were in good shape,
And over there was Kim, the lover of her old days.
She was trying to figure out if she was in the present time.
Her eyes opened clearly, but she still believed it was a dream!
