Ma đưa lối, quỷ đem đường,
Lại tìm những chốn đoạn trường mà đi.
Hết nạn nọ đến nạn kia,
Thanh lâu hai lượt, thanh y hai lần.
Trong vòng giáo dựng gươm trần,

2670.
Kề răng hùm sói, gửi thân tôi đòi.
Giữa dòng nước chảy sóng dồi,
Trước hàm rồng cá gieo mồi thủy tinh.
Oan kia theo mãi với tình,
Một mình mình biết, một mình mình hay.

2675.
Làm cho sống đọa thác đày,
Đoạn trường cho hết kiếp này mới thôi!”
Giác Duyên nghe nói rụng rời:
“Một đời nàng nhé! Thương ôi còn gì!”
Sư rằng: “Song chẳng hề chi,

2680.
Nghiệp – duyên cân lại nhắc đi còn nhiều.
Xét trong tội nghiệp Thúy Kiều,
Mắc điều tình ái, khỏi điều tà dâm,
Lấy tình thâm, trả tình thâm,
Bán mình đã động hiếu tâm đến trời!

2685.
Hại một người, cứu muôn người,
Biết điều khinh trọng, biết lời phải chăng.
Thửa công đức ấy, ai bằng?
Túc khiên đã rửa lâng lâng sạch rồi.
Khi nên trời cũng chiều người,

2690.
Nhẹ nhàng nợ trước đền bồi duyên sau.
Giác Duyên dầu nhớ nghĩa nhau,
Tiền đường thả một bè lau rước người.
Trước sau cho vẹn một lời,
Duyên ta mà cũng phúc trời chi không?

2695.
Giác Duyên nghe nói mừng lòng,
Lân la tìm thú bên sông Tiền Đường.
Đánh tranh lợp mái thảo đường,
Một gian nước biếc, mây vàng chia đôi.
Thuê năm ngư phủ hai người,

2665.
Led by demons and driven by ghosts,
She always sought the way of suffering to cross.
With this adversity to other disasters,
She was twice as a prostitute and twice as a maid.
Amongst the standing spears and the bare swords,

2670. She leaned her back to the wolves and acted like a slave.
She fell upon the raging currents of the great waves,
Like prey before the jaws of the dragon.
The injustice still bound love unfairly,
Only she knew her pain and felt it in her own spirit.

2675. On earth, she has endured pain and lived in exile,
And they will not finish until her life is over”.
Horrified by what she had just heard, Giac Duyen exclaimed:
“Alas, what will remain of her miserable life!”.
The nun Tam Hop replied, “But not at all,

2680. Merit and sin are weighed and therefore they often compensate for one another.
Kieu’s previous debt will be reconsidered.
She has been trapped in love but has not indulged in covetousness.
Kieu took the love of the child to give back the profound gratitude of her parents.
She sold herself and her piety reached paradise.

2685. She led to one death but saved thousands of lives.
She knew right from wrong and
discern good from the bad.
With that kind of merit, who in the world can compete?
Thus her preceding sins are all washed away.
God also favors good people,

2690. Alleviating past debt means rewarding future happiness.
Giac Duyen ought to be grateful to each other.
Let go of the raft in the Tien Đường river to save her.
Only then will you be able to fulfill the pledge you made once.
It’s a favor for you to do good deeds and also be blissful from heaven”.

2695. Giac Duyen rejoiced in her heart upon hearing these kind words,
And she found shelter close to the Tien Duong River.
She built her own house out of the grass with thatched roofs.
It was settled over the blue water underneath and the golden clouds above.
